Volunteer

COVID-19 Update:

We miss our volunteers! While we eagerly anticipate when we can once again accommodate volunteers at our facility, for now our program is still on hold to prioritize the safety of our volunteers and our staff. We are so grateful for your continued support from home and for all the great things you are doing to provide what abused children need today to thrive tomorrow. Click here to learn more about ways that you can help remotely, here to see a link to a registry of our most needed items for the Rainbow Room and here to learn more about filling wishes for this year’s virtual Toy Drive. Again, thank you for your continued support of the children we serve! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator, Carissa Hensch, at carissa@cpdtx.org. We hope to see you again soon!

You can make an immediate and meaningful difference for abused and neglected children by volunteering with Community Partners of Dallas.

We have opportunities for individuals of all ages, families, employees and groups to volunteer, from one-time events to regularly-scheduled volunteer hours. Please note that our volunteers do not work directly with the children in the care of Child Protective Services due to confidentiality and safety requirements. Know, though, that your time will provide the children with what they need for their first steps to healing and will equip their guides on the journey.

Everyone can play a part in making a meaningful difference in their lives—together we will make their childhoods safer and fill their futures with possibility. Below are a few examples of volunteer opportunities:
