Commemorative Giving

Gifts can be made in honor of or in memory of an honoree. We will gladly send a card to the recipients and/or their families to demonstrate that a gift was made. Please be sure to include their address when donating.

We also offer two honorary opportunities during the year with the gift that gives twice! Personalized honorary cards are the perfect way to celebrate teachers, neighbors, co-workers, clients, family and friends, all while helping a child in need.

  1. Teacher Honorary Cards
    • Honor and celebrate your child’s teacher(s) while supporting our annual Back-to-School Drive. Order forms will be available in April of each year. Email Elizabeth Whited with any questions.
  2. Holiday Honorariums
    • Send festive season’s greetings while supporting our annual Holiday Toy Drive. Order forms will be available in November of each year. Email Elizabeth Whited with any questions.

Appreciated Asset Donations

Receive an immediate income tax deduction for the fair market value of the asset(s) and avoid paying capital gains taxes. Gifts can be timed to match fluctuations in the capital markets.

Planned Giving

Consider naming us in your will and ensuring that we can always be here to protect our community’s most vulnerable children. You can make a difference for generations to come.

Matching Gifts

Did you know companies will often match an employee’s charitable contributions? In addition to matching monetary donations, some companies will make a donation for each volunteer hour the employee gives to the community. Each company’s process is unique, so we are happy to work with you on this. Email Corinne Karp for more information.

Payroll Deductions

Many companies have their own workplace giving platforms where employees can make donations to nonprofit organizations through payroll deduction. These programs can sometimes take a few months to notify us. Please to let us know you have made a workplace gift to Community Partners of Dallas so we can thank and recognize you right away.

Please contact Joanna Clarke, Vice President of Development at joanna@cpdtx.org or (214) 624-7584 for specific giving opportunities or to discuss any of the above donation options.

Community Partners of Dallas is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization and our tax ID number is 75-2468034. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law and will be acknowledged with a letter you may use for these purposes.
