Volunteer Coordinator

Community Partners of Dallas is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to join our team! This exciting position will assist the Volunteer Manager with creating a positive experience for all individual and group volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator will also assist with the many administrative tasks necessary to maintaining a well-run volunteer program. The Volunteer Coordinator should be a collaborative team member who can maintain effective working relationships with other staff, volunteers and members of the community.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, providing support to CPD’s Teen Board, maintaining accurate volunteer records and tracking of hours in a database, leading volunteer projects, supporting Volunteer Manager at large program and fundraising events and representing CPD at volunteer fairs and off-site events as needed. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree. This position requires the ability to stand and or walk for 2-4 hours at a time and lift a minimum of 20lbs without assistance.

Development Coordinator

Great entry-level position for a new grad! Community Partners of Dallas is looking for a Development Coordinator to join our team. This position will work on a wide array of tasks including creating social media and newsletter content, helping with grants and events, supporting our auxiliary groups and updating the donor database (Raiser’s Edge). Additional projects will include but not be limited to support of drives and mailings, photography and special projects.

The position requires strong writing skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task, great attention to detail and computer proficiency. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, marketing, communications or a similar field. Experience with Raiser’s Edge and/or Excel is a plus!
