Dear Friends of CPD,
We hope this finds you and your family safe and healthy. In the interest of social distancing and in the hopes of helping to stop COVID-19 from spreading, our Elmbrook facility is closed and our staff is working remotely. This said, we are proud to report that our Rainbow Room and other programming for the children will still be operational.
This is going to be a very challenging time for our client families with stress, proximity and isolation. I am truly grateful to our programs team who are working with great intention to make sure the CPI/CPS staff members who need help will receive it.
We are abiding with all City of Dallas parameters including cancelling our March 27th Chick Lit Luncheon, and rescheduling yCPD Field Day (originally scheduled for May 16th). All scheduled meetings, auxiliary activities and/or volunteer opportunities are also cancelled, currently through April 17th.
We are making plans to distribute the baskets we have received but will not accept other donations for Easter until after the COVID-19 social distancing advisories are over. Of course, you are always welcome to donate online, and can click here to do so!
We are truly grateful for all the support you continue to provide—your involvement is essential to providing what abused children urgently need today to thrive tomorrow. Please do not hesitate to contact our staff with any questions or concerns you may have.
Stay safe and healthy!
