Who We Help
Community Partners of Dallas strives to create a community fully equipped and mobilized to help children prevail over abuse and neglect. Of the 14,433 children served by the Rainbow Room in 2023, 59% came from families with an income of less than $14,000 annually.
Age Breakdown of Children Served by the Rainbow Room in 2023
We help children who have been removed from situations of:
- Physical Abuse
- Sexual Abuse
- Emotional Abuse
- Abandonment
- Neglectful Supervision
- Physical Neglect
- Medical Neglect
- Refusal to Accept Parental Responsibility
Caseworker Appreciation
Caseworker retention is critical to the well-being of the children served. Statistics show that if a child has just one caseworker, the odds, at 74%, are much greater that he will find a forever home. But, if he has two caseworkers, his odds drop to 17%, and with three caseworkers, the odds fall to just 5%.
Community Partners of Dallas plans and hosts special events to thank the caseworkers and staff of Dallas County Child Protective Services. These events are designed to inspire commitment and motivation and remind them that we appreciate the important work they do.
Caseworker Wellness Program
Additionally, our Caseworker Wellness Program is designed to nurture the personal well-being of these workers serving on the front lines.
