think THANKs

Do you have a 7th or 8th grade student?

We want them to be a part of 'think THANKs'!

This is a Saturday conference hosted by THANKs, the Community Partners of Dallas teen board, that will give seventh and eighth grade students tools they need to transition into high school including confidence in leadership, community awareness and team building.

'think THANKs' will be a full day of meeting new people, learning about self and others, discussing service and issues in our community and break out sessions on topics such as time management.  Our teen board members will lead the day utilizing their training and high school experience to 'pay it forward' to the "next generation."  Students will leave with improved confidence, a broader sense of their communities, goals on service and community involvement as well as new friends!

Conference registration forms will be available in fall 2010!
